What are Maps?
Maps are maps on which countries, regions and landscapes can be mapped. They come in various designs. You can buy maps, marked on the specific regions in which landscapes can be printed, but also very classic with countries of the world. When before a particular region (Münsterland, Sauerland, etc), a city or another country to visit, then show them how to get tickets to his goal. On maps, the main road (motorway, highway, etc.) of each city or its vicinity are listed. For a better overview of the map is divided into several boxes, which are numbered and marked with letters. For instance, could be found on a map of North Rhine-Westefalen Cologne, for example in the box B6. It is found in every map on the back is a Straßennamensverzeichnes that says, has no place in which box one too.

A map (best-known producer of maps is the company "Falk") are available at every gas station, and even in some kiosks in major department stores. The map itself is still available in all these shops, but is less and less used. Today requires a navigation aid, we shall have confidence in a navigation device. For many, it has the advantage that they do not have to continually stop to look at the map, as a nice woman's voice the way, who was charged, provides step by step to the driver on. In addition, most navigation devices have a traffic jam warning system that alerts drivers in advance. The display of equipment including petrol stations, snack bars and picnic areas are registered. Another advantage of digital navigation aid is the display of kilometers, have yet to be put back. Many older people, however, still rely on the map, since they, unlike the navigation system does not live by car. Also older people have little harder to use the digital means, which makes the use of a map is inevitable. The advantage of a map is that it costs a fraction of a navigation device. What, however, on the front of the card or to pre-or may be detrimental, is the printed advertisements of the local companies.
